Description

The fabric is from Marimekko collection, called Tuuli (wind). The pattern was published in a news paper Helsingin Sanomat a few years back among an artickle about japanese crafts. I made some little alterations though: I changed the original smocking to pleat (in the front).

Material Notes

The fabric is cotton-satin.

    I love it…you can bring it into fall with a pair of black leggings and a swoopy matching cardigan. Great job.

      Thank you! Actually I have worn this one more in the winter than in summer! If you layer three pairs of thights and leggings, it’s so much warmer than jeans. And I can fit long sleeved t-shirt under and cardigan on it. :) (Yes, that’s what I wear in winter time in Finland!)
