I made these while I was pregnant with my second child (see above :D). I loved the pattern in Burda Magazine, and I combined both versions of the pattern. I made the easier version, but made them longer and with topstitching around the yoke. I thought I didn´t have enough fabric, but I´m quite short and in the end I had plenty for long trousers!
The first time I could try these on was three months after I gave birth – I made these without even trying them on. That was definitely great, no stress, just sewing. But, it´s quite loose design, so I could take the risk.
I like them! A bit 80s, maybe, and I wouldn´t have guessed I would some day wear something like this (trousers with pleats!), but I like it now. Oh well, the world is a stage and we all are actors…

That’s some fun seaming! And yes, I would never think to wear something like “adult woman pants”, yet I was happy to find ones that fit me perfectly in the wardrobe recently… Lovely colour, too – lucky that you had enough fabric!

Only 1, 5m of fabric! These pants were pretty cheap to make :).
