I made this gown for a local girl to wear in an upcoming pageant. I had a lot of trouble with the ruched overlay on the bodice-I think it was the assymetry of it all. Finally I tripled the amount of match points before I slashed the pattern, and it worked!
organza, stretch net with metallic threads and satin for lining and underlining

Yes, it does. The outer two layers are organza, under that is a layer of tulle for softness, under that one of green lining to help the color, and under that a layer of lining with gathered netting attatched to it, so six layers of skirt. Whew!
