Another one of my favourite fabrics.. I initially made a ring sling from this and had a little piece left over.

Thanks!!! For whatever reason, I wasn’t using a square. Seeing your dimensions makes sense. I can’t wait to make another. I really appreciate you sharing :-)

No problem at all. Oops that measurements for the pockets should have said 8" wide by 6"long before folded in half. I know some people don’t double the fabric for the pockets but I do in addition to adding the interfacing.

I really like your checkbook covers. Would you mind sharing the dimensions? I’ve made three and they are all slightly off – I’m pretty sure it’s my measurements.

Thank you :-)
The original square is about 8" by 8". The pockets for money/checkbook/register is cut at 8" by 3". The business card slots are cut at 2 1/2" by 4"(5" long by 4" before folded in half) It makes for a perfect size after all the stitching and top stitching is completed.
I still get funky sizes because in all honestly I cut free hand. I usually estimate really well but I am not perfect. For those ones I either keep them for myself or put them in my shop under “almost perfect” LOL
