A summer dress for very warm weather, I made it for a vacation to a very warm climate 3 years ago.
The dress has a side zipper and the top is lined with same fabric, the skirt is not lined. The skirt consists of 2 tiers, gathered. Top stitched with single thread.
This was an easy project, the only part that needed some concentration was the back, the “X” shaped top part.
I almost forgot the one alteration I made to the pattern: I did not like the buttons on the front, so I ditched them alltogether.
