Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I know making shirt is a easy peasy, and so does this one.
I had some leftover tulle and decide to make maxi skirt out of it.
you can match it with tucked loose t-shirt for casual look, or crisp white shirt (like i did) for formal look or you can alter it to fishtail skirt instead.

HI, how much material did u use? I am working on a similar skirt for my friend’s wedding and was figuring out how to make belt and how much material to gather. I am afraid that the belt might come too ‘fat’ and will spoil the shape in waist. Did u use elastic for the waist and how wide is it? Thanks for all answers. Great color – looks very feminime on you!

Hi Tejka,
I used up 4 meters in tulle, and the elastic band around 4 or 5 cm in width (i forgot the exact number, but i recalled its the widest elastic band i could find).
The buff will come from the amount of tulle you use, if i wear it on my waist, the shape will be like a bell (puffy). That’s why i wear it a little bit lower.
