Description
Every year I visit a couture fabricsale. And ever since I started visiting this event more than ten years ago the red fabric with the gold tulips was on the table with remnants. So I decided that this piece of fabric was waiting for me :-)
The pattern for the top is from Patrones. It had two ruffles on the shoulders but I left one out, I though this would be too much for me.
I had to line the top completely as this fabric itches (it feels like a nest of ants). For this I used red silk.
For the skirt I used a cotton fabric with some lycra with a houndstooth print. The pattern is very easy and it’s a comfortable skirt to wear. It’s something I like to wear on hot summer days as it has no lining.
Material Notes
Silk chiffon, silk, cotton with lycra, invisible zipper, button, interlining for waistband.
