This is Burdastyle’s Marie skirt. It fits well however i made it in a cotton drill which didn’t really do it justice. I think it would be better in a shot silk or heavy satin, something with a slight sheen. Great pattern though! I was surprised at how easy it was. I’d like to make a dress from it next and attach the skirt to a strapless bodice. Watch this space :)

Nah, I LIKE your fabric! You did a good job, your stitching is nice and even and the pleats drape really nicely.

I was also wondering what fabric it would be best on…did you adjust the waistline? is it really high-waisted? with the fabric you used this time it looks pretty formal.
