The pattern is from Burda Style Magazine 08/210 – The black tulip dress.
It’s really comfortable to wear – the pockets are a lovely touch. The lining was dropping a little – as the taffeta is stiff and stands out a little from the body – if I was making it again I would shorten the lining slightly. As it was I just used a few small hand stitches to pull the lining up slightly towards the waist on the inside.
We're taking a sneak peak at the upcoming fashion design course.
This classic autumn collection has designs inspired by the Scottish countryside.
