Description

Yesterday I made this box for Mothers’ day as a present to my Mom :) I was up all night but it totally worth it!

Material Notes

I used left-over materials (I think it’s tweed) from an old brown skirt, two tones of red and green twine and some paperboard. It was easy but took a lot of time with the embroidery.

    Thanks :) well to be honest making the tulips was the easy part… the paper parts weren’t really going to fit in. I don’t know how you managed to do it with your house shape but I had to cut them down again and again until it was too small. So when I stitched the sides together it became a little weird :)

    Great job! I made one similar for a friend in the shape of a house… little bigger but it also took a while.(You can see it in my studio!) I love your tulips- the detail is really good!
