Boys Tudor Dress for Tudor Day at school. Pattens’ like “Rocket Dust” to get hold of for 11 year olds, I spent all summer trying to find one.
Silky nylon and silk edging for shorts and velvets for jacket. Lined with cotton. Although for authenticity should have used linen and wool. A school shirt was taken to bits with ruffles sewed in on neck and sleeves. All edged with Ribbon for a bit of panache!!!! Hat made from material leftover scraps.
Pauline Loven for Patten.
Carole Zanders for button-holes as I can’t do button holes!!!!! (It’s about time I learned)
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
