This is a try out I made yesterday. I will use it on a cropped jacket I’m starting today. I’m so excited on how it’s gonna look for real on the jacket. I couldn’t wait to share it with you, knowing that the jacket won’t be finished soon… Maybe it’s an inspiration for you to.

Off course, that’s why I posted it.
It’s really simple; take the top part of your sleeve pattern and copy it on a new piece of paper. Starting from the centertop, divide the sleeve in 8 triangular piece, all about the same angle. Cut them apart and spread them even, keeping the points together. The more you spread them, the more the cap will stand out. My longest one is about 8 cm ( 3,5 " ) from top till bottom, the other two are 2 and 4 cm shorter. Freehand the curve of the bottom of the caps. This is now the pattern for the caps.
Stitch the caps onto the sleeve and then insert your sleeve. Good luck!
