I mistakenly thought the Desira was a true wrap top. You know, like the kind that goes through the hole and then wraps around and ties on the side? Looks like I was wrong. So I turned it into an actual wrap top by drawing the waistline on the pattern and adding a 1" hole at the waist. Then I sewed the straps to the waist as well (I made one 3/4 of the size the belt was supposed to be—that’s the one that went through the hole) and made the other 1/4 of the size of the belt, using the belt pattern for both straps.
