This is part of my major work that i created for my final year of high school it is currently not with me as i have sent it off to be marked by the department of education, its really scary =( all the rows that you see are single rows of ruffles that i have gathered. its been a really long and tedious task but the end product is well worth it. It was a pain in my fat bum to pull out all the gathering stitches my fingers hurt so much. My project was basically about how you can make nice looking clothes with a small budget and make them have different looks. with this skirt there is another skirt that you wear and you place this one over and then press the snap buttons in place. It actually works quite well ^^ better than i thought i would, hopefully i score high :( I had to make a lining for this skirt with boning in it to make sure that it would sit like i wanted it to because in some parts it sank down which didnt look very nice.
Crepe chiffon, muslin, snap buttons, bias binding, satin, boning and tulle

What a fun idea. I love the colors that you chose and the photo’s show how much work you put into your creation. Keep up with the inspiring details. You have succeded in proving “High End” doesn’t have to come with a designers lable attatched. I rate your project as an A+

Oh my gosh! That is so so much work into it! I do hope they realize and give you a high score! You deserve it for the idea with the snaps and for all that hard work! Good Luck!
