I used the bottom pattern and combined it with another bodice pattern.

I hope you don’t mind, but I’m definitely using you as inspiration for a gown for later this month! I was fortunate enough to costume and act in a movie that premieres later this month, so I’m making a gown for it based on yours! It’s just ’50s enough to fit in with all the vintage styling people will bring to the table, but just “me” enough to work perfectly. Thank you, thank you, thank you for the inspiration.

Thank you guys :) I used this bodice http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/sibylle It’s the inner piece I just skipped the strap and connected the top and bottom (skirt) together then I had to extend the bottom of the pattern so that it would connect with the Benedikta skirt panel. It took me quite some time to adjust and add to the pattern since I’m not an expert on pattern making and grading. But once the pattern was done (took me one whole day to figure it out) it took me about 3 days to make the dress mainly because I keep running out of materials.
