Description

I just love BurdaStyle 07/2011 #125A Satin trousers and decided to shorten them for summer! I did just that as well as eliminate the fly at the centre front and replaced it with a side invisible zipper for a clean look. I also added belt loops. I just love how they turned out and it just goes to show that you can get tonnes of mileage out of one great pattern!! Really nice job! I’ve got a wide legged pants pattern that I think I’ll have to do the same to now.

Thanks! yeah, it’s really great to get more than one garment out of a pattern!

I really like these shorts, they look great on you. Thanks for introducing me to Polyvore. Another addiction coming up.

Yeah, sorry, it is rather addicting. But I’ve found it super useful for planning my sewing. Now I make stuff that actually goes with stuff I have. I guess I don’t use it for consuming, but more for making more effective use of my time and money…yeah, that sounds good :-P
