I saw this fabric and knew I had to make something with it. I remember the Jill Sander pink skirt from S/S 2011 and thought that might be a fun skirt to make with this fabric. I drafted the pattern myself and shortened it from the original version. I added inseam pockets and one side has the inseam invisible zipper with the inseam pocket. I added a self waist stay and hand tacked it to each pleat. There is a slit on each side.
I made the pattern myself.
Now that I’m pregnant I haven’t been able to wear it..so next S/S I’ll give it a try.
Tropical fruit print polyester, inseam zipper, hook/eye closure, interfacing, thread
