Used Simplicity “retro” pattern (3833) to make this summer dress. Fun! Made all the usual pattern alterations, too numerous to mention. Pattern has interesting curved empire waistline with seams turning into darts, sort of tricky (basted first).
Fabric features purple, orange, and rust-colored “tribbles” (if you know what these are you are old like me) and was designed by one of my favorite PR winners — Jay McCarroll. Bought it from Contemporary Cloth web-store.
Cotton, very-orange bias tape for seam binding.
