When I saw this episode of Threadbanger I decided to try my hands on my old leggings lying around with holes in them.
Thing was, somehow I managed to pick the wrong fabric (the violet one, it stretches in only one direction which is slightly uncomfortable .) and ended up with way to short leggings, and i love mine long enough to bunch up around the ankles.
Sooo, i decided to be creative and ad extra long “cuffs” to the legs in a different color (the gray part) but it kind of looked odd, and wouldn’t go together. This is why I added the 6 buttons on either side. They elongate my legs nicely and give a little military and vintage touch to it (I used miscellanoeus buttons, old ones too)
We will see, whether this style is to be worn until it falls apart or destined to turn slowly to dust in my closet =)
12 buttons, 2 different jersey knits from my stash, elastic for the waistband
