Orange, Californ...

I made this leather flower pendent necklace & have a tutorial on my blog here. Whip it up in time for Christmas gift giving! It’s quick and easy, and I think it’s really lovely. :)

Material Notes

I used leather, but you could use any fabric that doesn’t fray. You don’t need much.

This is beautiful! Are the cut-outs simply beaded to the chain?

No, it’s even easier than that! I just sewed beads onto the front petal, glued the next two layers on, and then glued the ends ot the chain and the three flowers onto a corduroy backing.

Now that’s clever and much easier. I just like things to be difficult is all ;)

Me too!! The only reason I didn’t do it your way is because I don’t know how. I like them to be difficult too hahaha!!! I love learning a new, easier way to do things. I’ll often step back and ask myself how on EARTH I couldn’t see it that way from the beginning. It’s a marvel how the brain works, isn’t it? :)
