I really wanted to try a tulip skirt for spring. I also wanted to use this happy stretch sateen from Joanns, so I married the two! I used Simplicity 2413 for the pattern. I am really pleased with how this came out – it’s trendy, but not so I can’t wear it to work. It feels like spring! Here’s a link to my blog entry about my new skirt!
Stretch cotton sateen from Joanns. Surprisingly nice to work with!

I loved this fabric in the store but couldn’t figure out what to make with it. Your skirt is awesome! I might have to go back for this fabric now…

I saw the pattern and liked it but wasn’t sure if it would look good. You really make it look great.
