I made this dress the day before my parents’ 50th birthday celebrations. It came together really quickly, and is a really flattering princess-seamed dress with a little flaring at the base of the dress.
The pattern is New Look 6670. The back also has quite a low v-cut, matching the front. Makes undergarments a little tricky!
The material makes this dress, I loved it as soon as I saw it. I cut the pattern of the dress to maximise the design of the material, and so that it would look like the vine was growing, and weaving up from the bottom! It's fully lined with a silky-polyester, and the main material is a satin. Bought from Brunswick Fabrics for about $8m I think?

I wish I lived in AUS. I would buy that fabric in an instant. By any chance do you know what brand the fabric is? I love the pattern of the dress and it fits you well.

I wish I could help you out – I’m not sure what brand it was – just a random satin print from a little shop I go to! Sorry I couldn’t help more!

I like the fact that you took advantage of the vine effect. This dress looks really great on you. The workmanship and fit are excellent.

Gorgeous! I love the “growing vine” effect – you not only maximized the pattern of the fabric, but enhanced the already flattering silhouette of the pattern. Fantastic job :-)
