I made this fun treasure chest hunt “apparel” for my nephews’ birthday… I made a set of 3 since there are 3 boys and they play together. Even though they are different ages, they are like triplets! :0) I made each of the individual items that they might use, with different colored beads, so they could each have a matching “set” of the items here. This was one of the most fun projects I have come up with and it just happened, one idea after another kept coming to me as I would make one item, then I would think of something else to add to it! I would love to make more projects like this! :0) And, they loved them!
What I included was, a “burlap” sac to carry everything in, waist pouches with a bead closure to put on a belt, notebook to write clues, wristlet made of faux leather with beads as fake clues to the treasure, bag with chocolate “gold coins” and my girls drew and colored a treasure map using names of all the cousins for lakes, and mountains and stuff…
