This is the third in my 8 piece fall line, made especially for Local Honey over the last month. The original version was a giant blouse; which I simply turned backwards, gathered the neckline, kept the button-up side to the back, and created a wild version of shoulder pads. These were made piece by piece, simply by tracing a small semicircular bit of cardstock and cutting out about 40 little shapes. I sewed them up, pressed them out, serged the ends, and handstitched them together, and voila! They were very time consuming, but very rewarding to see people go nuts over.
