Description

I made this dress last year and I have worn it quite a lot, but did not get around to make a photo of it until it documented it yesterday for Me-Made-May’12.

I wanted to have a light and comfortable dress for traveling when I went to Japan last year. It didn’t get finished in time, but it would have been too cold for it anyway.

I used the fashionline patten no. 508C from the german Burda site, but made some changes. I shortened the sleeves and made the sleeve hems gathered instead of pleated. I also added darts in the back for some more shaping.

    Liebe Kihli Wieder ein wunderschönes Kleid. Cooler Stoff und ich finde es eine sehr schöne Idee, dass der Stoffe fürs Oberteil anders gedreht ist, als für den Jupe. Die kleine Masche bildet das i-Tüpfchen. Congratulations. Very beautiful dress.
