OK, brace yourselves!! I sacrificed a vintage 70’s Tori Richards Honolulu maxi dress to use the fabric for this jumpsuit. The stupidest thing I could have done was not take a picture of it before I started cutting it up. I bought it at a garage sale and have had it for like 3yrs waiting for just the day I would know what to make from it. Since it was a size 14 I could have never worn it in its original state. Made the pattern myself, shirring is so fun and easy to do!
I love how it turned out and tried to stay as true to its era as I could, but I rarely wear anything this long because I am only 5’1". I think it would look way better on someone with longer legs. My lovely daughters friend EM was nice enough to photograph it. She did AweSome!
