This review is for front pleated pants based on a plus size pattern : Burda 06/2011 # 130. The look of the front is reminescent of harem pants. The side pockets are much appreciated. Caveat the uber long legs.
I went out of my comfort zone when choosing this pattern but I am very pleased with the result. The roomy front is forgiving though stylish and very comfortable. No zip is necessary and making them is quite easy if you mark the front pleats and follow the instructions.
I think I will wear this garment more than I had first planed for they are nice worn with both short or longer tops and tunics.
Very nice polyester crepe. You are asked to use a drapy fabric.
