this really needs to be photographed on a body,
it’s my take on a leather jacket. In that it’s made of coated linen and has no sleeves.
coated linen, tends to stretch a lot when woring with it.

I love the drape and overall silhouette. The color is great too, very future-chic.

Sorry, could I please ask you one more question? The snaps you have used. Are those large, sew on snaps? I have been looking for such snaps, but haven’t been able to find them. If you know of a place to get them, could you please let me know where I can get them? I saw on Etsy that the linen is waxed. I would be really interested in hearing about if you bought it already waxed, or if you did it yourself. I would be very interested in learning how to do that, to make some rain gear from. Love the look and feel of oilskin (I guess this is very much like what they used to call oilskin or maybe even exactly the same).
Thanks a lot!

it’s not an oilskin, but looks like one.
I got the big snaps from the local big chain fabric store. They’re only an inch in diameter.

Just curious… You say it’s made of coated linen. What is it coated with, and did you coat it yourself? It looks real interesting! :)

it came that way. I’m not sure what the coating is, it’s kind of waxy.
