When my Singer 8280 is taking some time out (it’s broken… and is currently being repaired), I’ve been getting to know my Vintage Singer 99k. The first project that I’ve made with my vintage little beauty was this dropped waist dress.
As soon as I bought this stretchy polka dot cotton, I knew exactly what I wanted to make with it – a semi-fitted dropped waist dress. I love the end result! The pale pink polka dots (hard to tell from the pics), the silhouette, the comfy stretchy fabric – what’s not to like!
Dress up outerwear with deep shawl collars and sew up a lovely fitted dress with a flounced hemline.
