I found the shirt in an op shop for 50 cents. It was truely HIDEOUS, but I knew, just knew it would make a great skirt. The pattern is ripped from a ‘cotton on’ skirt that I actually bought (so I am allowed to copy the pattern, right?)
This is the first project I made completely by myself, without help, and which looks professionally made. I am super super proud of myself.

I love this fabric… how was there enough in the shirt?

I unpicked the whole thing. originally I wanted to have the shirt buttons in the middle of the skirt at the front, but that wasn’t possible. I JUST managed to get enough fabric out of it – the pockets are just yellow cotton and not from the shirt.
