Description

I do love animal print fabric and this is not an exception. The fabric was limited, so I had exactly enough to sew this little top. I think it’s a bit fun with the hole and knot in the back and this makes it a little special. I have used pattern #105 Burda 07/2007. The fabric is more steady than a normal jersey, so it was easy to sew :)

It is such a gorgeous top! Looks very pretty on you! Unfortunately, I could not find a pattern for this model… I wonder if it is still on the website.

No, I don’t think so, but it’s a very easy pattern and probably you can draw it. If you look at the drawing of the top it’s just a hole back and for the knot you have to sew two ties together. Hope you can figure it out..

This is a nice top Ellen. With the snake skin imitation, it looks nice and could be wear with some skirts or pants. I did’t noticed that top or may have forgotten it.

Dear Ellen, what a nice shirt. I like the fabric and the pattern and they nice way you sewed it, as always! Great job! I am a bit jealous of your warm vacation pics, sitting in the deep snow for so long now, and there seems to be more to come… Regards, Brigitte

Dear Brigitte, You are so kind, thank you very much for your lovely comments! It is fantastic with some summer during the wintertime..! We haven’t had any snow yet in Norway and that is very unusual – so I hope the spring will come soon! ;)

Hi ellen, no i hav’nt posted it yet. It’s a vintage pattern and i used black with the animal print in panals. I thought it lacked something?? I might add some trim but i’ll try it on again and see. X
