B7678 Burda Style, T-Shirt
Kimono shirts: View B with shorter sleeves and broad band that loosely keeps all overlapping pieces of the front together.
My daughter loved the top, and wore it on New Years Eve!
The top is very simple to make. The hardest part is cutting out the material!
I made the ‘tester’ from a cheaper quality material; wasn’t too sure about the neck line after the tester was completed. When I made this top for my daughter out of a good quality material, which has to have spandex, it turned out nice. When I make her another one, I will take at least half an inch more out of the band length, which will be distributed on the back neck line between the two shoulder seams. I had already removed 1/2 inch from each of the front band sections from the shoulder seam to the waist. I found that the band ‘flopped’ on the tester, instead of laying nicely. I’m going to make myself one now !
