Sydney Again., A...
A complete outfit hooray!
I think I’ll actually wear this too, way too many things made but will never be worn,
Red jersey copy of a top I loved but stretched when I was pregnant. First copy of something I’ve done and I think I’’m 90% happy with it. I find sewing jersey biding on very tricky, the needle moves to the edge too much.
Pattern shape: I’ll make the armholes near the front a little deeper next time and might skip the midriff section and just make the ruffled bust section longer.
I bought this fabric a few years ago,, it was quite cheap too.. very sheer with embroidered roses on it.
Did one underla layer and a layer of lining cause my knickers were showing still!
Pleated around the waist with a thin waistband. I just bought some very similar fabric last week but with red bos sewn on and about 5x more expensive. Might make one for my mum.
(and no it doesn’t have pockets, my hand is hidden in a fold)
Top Jesey knit
Skirt bemsilk lining with embroidered organza.
