I have been seeing these flying around for awhile now. I knew I could make my own no problem. Well this is the first time and I think it turned out quite well. I made my own pattern, but got ideas from a bunch of different how tos. I saw this combo from aniomatronika a few months ago and loved it.
I used tan and black with white stitching on the front and white on the back with a vintage green zipper. I tried to add covered ends on the zipper but it got a little bulky, but I left them. The inside for the lining I did leopard print. I did add sort of pockets to the inside (turned out floppy, but that’s ok). I used a teflon foot and leather needle for the best results. The only thing I’m missing is my zipper pull which I’m creating. A girl from a store in this high end mall tracked me down and told me how much she loved my bag and wonder where in the mall I got it…..:) such a fantastic feeling. Many more to come and I will be selling these in the neat future. Sorry not the best pic with me with it.
Since it’s made with pleather it’s VEGAN and easily cleanable :)
Pleather, thread, leather needle, teflon foot, leopard print lining, green vintage zipper.
