Hamilton, New Ze...
I made a whole bunch of togas to sell at an O Week market we had at university. Every year during O Week, the bars and nightclubs have themed parties, however being intoxiated at the time, students are quite often not too skilled at making their own togas.
We sold out togas with a cord belt for NZ$10 with flower crowns for an extra NZ$5. I didn’t have a lot of time before the market and we sold out after two days so I very quickly made more, but because of this they had raw hems and necklines. Because they were probably only going to be worn once (and we were selling them very cheap), I didn’t think it mattered too much.
The photos are from our online shop, where we advertised that we would be selling them and would be at the market on campus.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
