Kimono for my 1 1/2 year old daughter. It was simple to make and is comfy so she won’t take it off! The fabric I originally bought to line a jacket for me, but since I hadn’t gotten around to it and my little girl loves giraffes and elephants I made it into a dress for her instead.
Cotton/lycra(5%) sateen retro safari print, brown bias tape.

I used onion pattern 20013. It’s very basic and has a wonderful cut. Now I want to do a shorter version in terry for a swim cover-up, and a soft cotton one with buttons instead of ties for pjs!

I wish that I had a little person to make cute clothing for. I really like the colors and the pattern of the fabric. Too cute!
