I made this by tracing a body suit on swim fabric I got for $1.50. I did’nt buy helenica lining so it’s not that strong.
As for the braid straps: I made 3 long strands around an inch long, sewed them inside out then put it right side out, sewed the 3 pieces together at the end and just used my sewing machine to keep the braid down while I finished it. Sewed it on the swimsuit and here it is
