This dress is a modification of a Butterick pattern. I used the pattern for the bodice and skirt, but modified the straps and added an attached sash to the front of the dress. The blue silk was on the drapery scraps table. I thought it was a beautiful color, and this dress gave me a great opportunity to use it. The black contrast fabric is cotton with a grey lace pattern. The hem of the skirt was finished using wide bias tape.
