I wanted to make some cute shorts for my DD to wear with tights during the fall/winter and I’ve been inspired by all the paper bag styles of skirts and shorts I’ve been seeing. I used a pattern I found on etsy and it was super quick and easy to sew up. I love how they turned out. I’m debating on whether to add belt loops… it will depend on what my DD does with the belt when she wears them.
I also now have a brother cs6000i and the shirring was really difficult until I found a tutorial on youtube on how to shir with a brother.
I used XL women’s pants I found at the thrift store.
