Description

A gift for my nieces birthday. She’s such a girly girl I thought this Heidi and Finn pattern would be perfect for her. I am really happy with the results and have had several requests from other moms for their own little ones’ ooak coats.

I can see this in layered silk organza for a special occasion coat – cant wait to make one!

Material Notes

100% cotton shell and lining, bias piping (lazy store bought kind!), lightweight fusible interfacing.

      My memory is awful, but the pink and unseen brown Kona were from Joann, I believe. I honestly don’t remember for sure, but the floral was probably from there as well – I have vague memories of attempting to match the pinks lol. Hope that helps. :-)

      Thank you Mary! Truth be told, I intended it to be reversed but got the end of the pink bolt and couldn’t find the color anywhere to do the full sleeves! I pieced brown Kona cotton to the the interior sleeves up to the cuff turn back from the armhole opening. It looks pretty cool inside! And I’m much happier with the floral on the outside as it turned out. Love those oops! moments sometimes.
