Sewing isn’t only about what you make – that’s only half the fun!
Wrapping a handmade gift is so fun and satisfying. This was a gift I wrapped for my beautiful friend Sally… However, I must warn, wrapping a prezzie in fabric is trickier than it seems… No one told me that tape doesn’t stick to fabric!! :P
Fabric, hemp string, card.

so… what did you use instead of tape? just the string? and it’s adorable, by the way.

Oh thanks! Well, instead of tape, I believe I used persistence, once the frustration started to kick in… haha. It was a bit tricky, but I just had to try and hold it in place while I used my third and fourth hands (I wish) to tie the string. Actually, I think I may have used my feet to hold down the fabric…

I like it and it looks so cute that I would hesitate to unwrap it if it were my present.

Oh, thank you! And yes, I always feel that way too! I think I might just get some empty boxes and gift wrap them, and just sit them on my bookshelf or something… Haha.
