Description

This dress is off the pattern Tiramisu by Cake Patterns (sewingcake.com).
Its my first pattern from this designer (Stephanie C) and I’m already in love. This is a pattern for Stretch Jersey knit fabrics. It’s super easy to construct, the bodice comes in 40 different size variations including A,B,C and D cups!

The sleeves are mini kimono sleeves so there’s no extra work involved with setting in sleeves as they are part of the bodice already. It comes with directions on creating a chevron stripe pattern on your dress which involves you cutting the bodice back, skirt front and back all in 2 pieces, if you’re not using stripes then you can cut your time in have by just cutting all those pieces on the fold.

Can also be hacked to make a peplum top!

Material Notes

Stretch Jersey Knit (can use any stretch fabric with a nice drape)

Thank you Ladies, I appreciate that!

and yes Mary, the Bodice is a soft lingerie jersey with white polka dots and the remainder if the dress is in a thin black jersey knit.
