Description

Second version of Grainline’s lovely pattern (http://shop.grainlinestudio.com/product/tiny-pocket-tank). I love this pattern and am definitely going to make more. This one will be a gift for my bestest bud. The fabric is a vintage Liberty print a friend gave me (from her mum’s stash that she was giving away). It really is great fabric to sew with. I wish I could afford to buy some!

Luckily the fabric is busy enough to hide that slightly dodgy pocket stitching.

wow! even before i read your comment i knew this had to be liberty- you are soo lucky to have sourced this print so jealous! youve done a fantastic job i almost overlooked the cute little pocket! i have developed a fascination with liberty fabric since ive started sewing and i am slowly trying to build up a collection and it is slowly as im on a tight budget at the mo- you have shown how a simple but effective style can look so fab with liberty prints.so so inspiring and so excited to start sewing my liberty dream garments! love it love it love it! Awww Rach, you rock! I wish I could sew everything in Liberty too. One day I WILL buy some but for now it feels good to give something so special to my bud…especially seen as though the fabric was also a lovely gift. There are only a few scraps left of this but I hope to squeeze out enough for a placket or something so I too can have a little Liberty in my wardrobe.
