Description

I created this costume for my best friend. From the day I met her I knew she would be a perfect Tink. I used a formal dress pattern, cut it short, added more room in the bust and made the triangular cut outs. I made the jacket out of fleece, the puff balls out of yarn, the purse from scratch and scraps left over from the dress. All-in-all I think she pulled it off well!

Material Notes

Green satin, green cotton, fleece, yarn

I just saw her and started smiling: she is so cute and incredibly happy to be in the costume! I think this is the best thing: when you make something that is truly perfect for somebody and they love it so much it makes everyone happy. Thinkerbell is not easy to pull off…she does it wonderfully!
