I made this latest version of the pattern more shrunken and fitted to the body, and with small sleeves after noticing that hip n happening young guys are wearing their shirts like this now…
Burda 7767 with modifications, using fabric that is a hideously difficult-to-tailor combination of crinkly AND stretchy. Have you ever tried to pattern-match patch pockets and pocket flaps in a crinkly-and-stretchy checked fabric??
But he professes to love his on-trend new shirt, so Yay!

Looks great. I have a couple of shirts on my to do list for my hubby and son:) Well done to you! Did you find it a challenge to sew?

Thank you!
I really enjoy the process of making mens shirts and have used this same pattern over 20 times, so I recommend it! This particular shirt was a challenge because of the fabric…! I recommend choosing a non-stretchy cotton or linen for a first go at it. Good luck!
