Jenny skirt with suspenders. It needs a bit of alteration and I might make the suspenders detachable.
The skirt should come with a warning. Be careful getting into minis, as I manage to rip the split right up to the zipper on the 2nd day I wore it, thankfully I did it on the way home.

this looks great! if you make the suspenders detachable, you could make other pairs in fun colors. change them according to your mood.

This looks really good on you! I think the kick pleat omg_dora suggests might be a good option for your next skirt. You can make it higher but still won’t risk showing more than with the split you made for this skirt.

I have no idea how to do a kick pleat but i’m always up for learning a new skill. For now I will just sit down with care.

Very elegant! I had the same problem with the split in my first Jenny. The next time I made it slightly less tight/tapered and I made the split slightly higher, and it solved the problem. Or if you can’t get the shape you want without making the split indecently high, you could try turning it into a kick pleat — I haven’t done one myself yet but there are lots of tutorials online.

Thank you for the advice. I was a bit paranoid about flashing my knickers that i made the split lower, but i need to take it a part and make the waist band smaller so I might play with the split again.

So cute! I’ve always wanted a skirt like this, with the suspenders, but was not sure if it would ok on me. It looks fab on you though.

I am going to make the suspenders detachable as sometimes I wish they weren’t there when I’m wearing it, but they do make your bust look really good. I do recommend the pattern though. I hope you at least give the skirt a try.
