Burda Style For people who sew
Description
my “bombshell dress”, from burda style’s bustier dress pattern and gertie’s FABULOUS course over at craftsy!
it took about 3 full days of sewing to accomplish, and it’s the best made thing in my closet. i’m hoping to wear it out one day this week as it is my BIRTHDAY WEEK! (yes, i get a whole week).
i love this dress so much it hurts. it was a lot of work, but so much fun it didn’t seem like work— and so rewarding. i did many little dances of joy.

Material Notes
lightweight cotton for fabric, underling and lining, double sided jersey for bodice underlining
boning, twill tape, the works!

Ooh its gorgeous, loving the fabric. I am doing this dress too, just desperate to get it finished now but I am full of cold boo :( This class rocks. Hope you have a fabulous birthday week too.
