Stanford, South ...
I had 5 rectangles of white denim, so I tie dyed them to make these handbags. I folded the denim into pleats and tied it with string. The part that was outside ended up as perfect to use for the front top of the bag as an accent.
I folded the rectangles in half and cut squares out of the folded corners to form the gusset. The base is very wide and they can stand alone.
I’m very happy with these bags.
Tie-dyed white denim.
Handles from orange twill tape.
Orange and white polka dot cotton lining.
I used some thin wadding between the lining and the main fabric to add structure.
