Description

YAY this is my first project uploaded to burdastyle xD
this was also my first time making anything button related (button holes, button placket) since my sewing machine’s 4-step buttonhole maker is broken, so i had to figure out how to do it manually. >__>

i used pattern E from a Japanese sewing book called “Stylish Dress Book.” i made some minor adjustments like making the hem shorter (i had maybe 2 inches short of fabric =__=) and making the sleeves shorter. next time i should probably make the collar/tie part a little thinner and add darts. ah well.

Material Notes

white thin cotton printed with small white flowers
clear/white flower buttons
(the buttons cost me more than the clearance fabric. le sigh)
