A fitted blouse with cap sleeves and a tie neck collar. I drafted the pattern using Cal Patch’s Design It Yourself Clothes book – a basic tailored shirt really! My machine refuses to do buttonholes so I added invisible snaps instead, which I think keeps it nice and clean-looking. Really comfy and light – a remnant of a lightweight cotton that I’ve not seen since dagnammit as it’s my favourite colour.

Definitely will make another – perhaps long sleeved this time. You could make it an evening top if you used something a bit special…
If anyone is particularly interested I could do a quick tute on how to do the collar, though it’s pretty easy to work out :)
